Venus And Cupid Statue

Venus and Cupid group, after the original marble sculpture by John Gibson R.A.,

Venus is seated, scantily draped, a bracelet about one arm and a flower in her hand, Cupid, standing, embraces her, above an oval rocky-mound base, circa 1858.

The original marble statue carved by John Gibson, was exhibited at the great exhibition and is now on display at the Usher art gallery, UK.
